Cold mornings and snowy days

Today was an amazing experiance for me and hopfully for everyone called Ripple Chrch home for the day.

January 20th was exceptionally cold and snowy. Most location were closed in observance of Martin Luther King day and due to the weather, bussing and other alternative locations were also closed.

This ment that neighbors who were outside had no where to go to get out of the elements.

Its times like this that local communities answer the call. Pastors from Ripple church came together to open up the Annex to allow everyone a break form the cold. Friends got togher to enjoy some food, Hot chocolate and some games. 

The Churches main heater was broken, but fortunatly we were able to fit into the small rooms that did have heat. The positive vibes were amazing and it was great to play a small role in helping others
