This event took place in the amazing <a data-mce-href="https://www.davincisciencecenter.org/" href="https://www.davincisciencecenter.org/" data-mce-selected="inline-boundary">Da Vinci Science Center</a>.&nbsp;The Allentown School District performed an awesome step routine and energised the crowd.Several peopel from arround the city were in attendance and it was encouraging to hear about the significant reduction in crime and the upcoming programs/initiives that are happening in Allentown.

As I tell most people, these houses are a labor of love.They look truly amazing and the qulity is beyond repair. On the flip side, every project is about usually take 8x more time since each one of these homes has a propencity to suprise you with every turn.&nbsp;One huge win is the folks at the <a data-mce-href="https://preserveallentown.org/" href="https://preserveallentown.org/">Allentown Preservation League</a>. They have a lot of the uniqe products needed to keep these homes looking amazing.

January 20th was exceptionally cold and snowy. Most location were closed in observance of Martin Luther King day and due to the weather, bussing and other alternative locations were also closed.This ment that neighbors who were outside had no where to go to get out of the elements. Its times like this that local communities answer the call. Pastors from Ripple church came together to open up the Annex to allow everyone a break form the cold. Friends got togher to enjoy some food, Hot chocolate and some games.&nbsp; The Churches main heater was broken, but fortunatly we were able to fit into the small rooms that did have heat. The positive vibes were amazing and it was great to play a small role in helping others

Cold mornings and snowy days

Their only exception to this annual event was a war and COVID.The rich history of this organiation and the numerious event that take place in and arround Ag hall show the long history of its place in Allentown.I'm honored to play a small role in this long history of this organizaoin.

The even included representitves form both partes, layers, election staff, and many others.This was a greate even to outline the financial reporting requirements, petition process, and a ton of other information. The even was well atteneded and it was grreat to meet candidates for vaiorus offices around the Lehigh Valley

I recall my parent brining me in town to go to Hess’ and seeing this holiday Icon.It will be sad to see this change, but as it is said, change is constant. I’m looking forward to seeing what the new owners have in store and to explore what this new chapter has in store for us.Happy Holidays, Allentown.&nbsp;
